The Calu is the first Elder Race created by the Ishu. The Calu were the servants of the Ishu. They were considered the second most important and beloved Elder Race by the Ishu. Their civilization would be destroyed in the Great Calamity and they would go on to become the Elves.
History[]
It is said that the first Calu was made from a branch of a white tree.
The story goes that the Ishu, who had uncovered the secret of creating life, desired servants so that they may focus on their work. With that, they journeyed into the forest until they came across a great white tree. The Ishu snapped a beautiful yet strong branch off the tree and dipped it in a nearby stream. When they pulled it out, instead of the branch, there was the first Calu.
The Calu were at first given the tasks of farming, herding, mining, and serving. After the creation of the other Elder Races, the Caiu only were used as servants but were highly priced by the Ishu.
Features[]
The Calu are about 8 feet tall with blue skin with white dots, pointed eyes, snow-white hair. They have slender bodies yet were very strong. They were also quite fast. Calu have great skill at magic.
